Welcome to Talk2Myca!

My name is Myca Jeter, LMSW, LCSWA and I am a co-parenting and resilience coach dedicated to empowering mothers to create thriving, harmonious family dynamics after separation or divorce. My coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that resilience is more than a skill—it’s a mindset that can transform lives.

For over 20 years, I have dedicated my professional life to helping others as a child welfare professional and clinician. But my coaching journey is deeply personal—it stems from my own life experiences, challenges, and success.

I’ve been divorced for over 15 years, and while divorce is never easy, we knew from the beginning that our daughter’s well-being was the most important thing. I worked hard, alongside my ex, to create a balanced, cooperative, and nurturing family dynamic for her.

Today, I’m proud to say that we’ve built something truly special—a safe, supportive, and harmonious environment where our daughter can thrive.

What I didn’t realize at the time was how rare our situation was.

Over the years, friends, colleagues, and even acquaintances who knew our story would comment on how inspiring it was. They’d often say, “You should help other parents figure out how to do this.” At first, I brushed it off, thinking, I’m just doing what needs to be done.

But as the years went by, I realized they were right. My experience navigating post-divorce realities—combined with my professional background—gave me a unique ability to help others do the same.

That’s when I decided to jump into coaching.

I’ve always had a passion for helping others. It’s what led me to social work in the first place. But I’ve realized coaching provides a different kind of opportunity—a way to guide people through some of the toughest moments in their lives and help them build something better on the other side.
